East Valley Utd 3  Hucknall Sports U10's Red 2

After last weeks narrow victory Hucknall Sports U10s were on the wrong end of a 3-2 defeat by East Valley Utd in the YEL Division Three.

Hucknall made a good start and took the lead as Joe Wells steered a shot through a crowded penalty area for the first. Hucknall increased their lead as Wells scored a second with a shot the keeper could only turn into his net.

But East Valley stuck to their game plan and got one back just before the interval. Danny Stenson was unlucky for Hucknall as another shot struck a post.

 The second half was a real tight affair as the play went from one end to another. Man of the Match Harry Anderson made some fine saves in the Hucknall goal to keep East Valley out. Ryan Headington and Jak Mosedale were in good form in the Hucknall defence.

On the break a fine ball by Tony Ellis released Wells but his thunderous shot came back off the cross bar.

At this point and with just 5 minutes to play the points seemed Hucknall's but a momentary loss of concentration by the defence allowed East valley to equalize. But the cruelest blow was to follow as in the dying seconds a freak bounce of the ball allowed East valley to take all three points.
