Hucknall Sports U10's Red 6 Rise Park Boys 0

Sunday November 30th 2003

Completing a tremendous month Hucknall sports under 10s easily overcome Rise Park Boys 6-0 in the YEL Division three and made it four wins on the trot.

In the first half Rise Park made it very difficult for Hucknall with some stout defending as Hucknall played some out of this world football .Joe Wells was unlucky with a great 20 yard shot which came back off the cross bar and a fine header which hit the post. However Wells would not be denied as he finally scored to give Hucknall a 1- nil lead at half time.

From the restart a great move by Jak Mosedale and Jak Craig allowed Tony Ellis to make it 2 nil. More pressure by Hucknall allowed Danny Stenson to fire home an unstoppable shot from well outside the area. Man of the match Eammon Loftus was also on the score sheet with a well-directed header from Hucknall's next corner. On the rare occasions Rise Park did attack, Harry Anderson in the Hucknall goal was as always in no mood to be beaten. Hucknall came on really strong in the final ten minutes and two more goals by Joe Wells enabled him to complete his hat trick for the third consecutive match. This leaves Hucknall second in the league and really applying pressure to the current leaders Burton Joyce.
