A hard game if there was ever to be one, as Hucknall Sports U-11's took on the YEL Division 1 table toppers Aslockton Cranmers.

 

Sports fired a warning shot in the opening minute that they wanted the 3 points and subsequently went on to dominate the first half. With the wind in their favour, Sports scored  a great goal  from full back Lewis Early with some  fantastic play from man of the match Luke Peters.

Celebrations were short lived as the visitors, who now had the elements with them,  scored soon into the second half.  This  left Sports licking their wounds as Aslockton pulled the bow sting tight and fired another 3 goals through a confused Hucknall defence, ending 4-1 winners to dampen Sports early celebrations.
