HUCKNALL SPORTS LET 2 POINTS SLIP, BUT SAVE FACE.

After a 5 week spell away from competitive match play, Hucknall Sports returned to an away field on fire. The hard work of a long and intensive training regime seemed to have paid off with 2 early goals, the first coming from Sam Sims after just 5 minutes, closely followed by a near replica of the first from Jan Westrik 3 minutes later. Numerous other chances should have sealed the game before half time, but Sports were unlucky.

Dynamos bounced back in the second half to give Hucknall a true run for their money. Finding the goal hungry visitors overstretched at the back, they took advantage on 2 occasions to bring the match back on even terms with just 7 minutes remaining. A consistently strong defensive performance from Hucknall’s Josh Wells helped to keep this valuable point, and earn himself his second Man of the Match Trophy in the last 3 matches.
