This was a game of two halves for Sports central defenders Jack Allen and Josh Lebelinski. They were tested by Heanor's live wire attack but still came out smiling. The first half ended 2-1 to the home side.

Sports upped the pace in the second half out finishing and deceivingly winning 7-2 through Ross King (2) Scott Rogers (2) and man of the match & hatrick hero Gareth Hayes.
