Hucknall Sports U8's White 1 Kimberley MW 1
Sunday 14th March 2004
Playing up hill and against the wind Sports played brilliantly with most of the early play but they were caught on the counter as Welfare slotted in a goal just before the break.
Sports' upped the tempo for the second half with constant pressure on the Kimberley goal, resulting in a most professional headed goal from Joe Hewitt direct from a perfect corner. Kimberley had not come for a draw and began to pepper the Hucknall goal, but a great performance from man of the match keeper Jack Grainger kept the score at 1-1.
