Bingham Town White 0 Hucknall Sports U9's 8

Sunday January 18th 2004

On a bitterly cold morning Hucknall Sports carried on their excellent run with a convincing victory against strugglers Bingham Town White.

The management decided for this game to give every player at least half a match but this still did not have any adverse affect for Sports who boast a really strong squad in depth. Alex Smith continued with his recent goalscoring run with two goals in the first half. The first was a well placed shot, after a through ball from man of the match Josh Bond and the second a shot from close range.

In the second half Sports ran riot with six further goals from Elliott Patman with a shot at the near post, Jonathan Swain (2), Fraser Flint, Matthew Yates and Keirran Clark.

Sports now have to concentrate on next weeks tough YEL Cup encounter away against Bulwell Town which will be a far greater task than today.
