The tussle for runners up slot in the YEL Division 1 saw Hucknall Sports take on Netherfield Colts at a sunny Wigwam.

Sports soon found their feet and set up camp in the Colts half.  It wasn't long before Sports were on the scoreline with a superb corner from George Bradley going straight in catching the Colts defence napping. Just before the break Sports increased their lead after Callum Gospel was hacked down in the box resulting in a penalty which was converted by Lewis Fensom.

 

The second half was just as good as the first with an excellent game of football being played by both teams with Sports linking up  better in midfield with the help of man of the match Daniel Yates. A rare lapse at the back saw Colts sneak past the back line and peg back a goal.  However, the full points were sealed by Sports as Gospel rocketed in the third making it 3-1 to Sports.
