This was the top fixture of the year as second place Hucknall Sports U-12's travelled to take on top of the league Aslockton Cranmers in the YEL.

This was Sports most important game as only a win could keep them on course to lift the League cup, and from the off Sports looked every part champions with great skill and pace on the most heavy and energy sapping pitch.  An injury just before the break saw Hucknall temporary caught out with Aslockton taking advantage slotting home a simple goal.

 

Tired legs and heads slightly down Sports tried in vain to break Cranmers down but with most of the referee's decisions not in their favour Sports soon found themselves 2-0 down.

The whole of Hucknall Sports had gave everything and got nothing from this hard and entertaining fixture with the man of the match award being shared between the team.
