What a delight was in store as Hucknall Sports U-12's travelled to top of the league Arnold Town Blue in the YEL Division One. 

It wasn't long before Sports stamped their authority on the game with Callum Gospel curling in a beautiful goal.  With great passing football throughout the team Hucknall kept Towns defence busy.  Towards half time Sports were caught on the counter attack requiring keeper Zac Flint to pull off some fantastic saves.

Just after the break Callum Gospel's charging run saw him slot in number 2 for Sports. This though made Arnold step up a gear.  A mistake in Sports's own half gifted the home team a lifeline despite a valiant effort from the Sports back four headed by man of the match James Talbot. Arnold were now looking for a point but Sports were pleased to hear the final whistle having gained a 2-1 victory.
