Priory Celtic Falcons 1 Hucknall Sports 1

Hucknall Sports played their first match since the new year but came away disappointed after dominating the match against Priory Falcons.

Sports started off putting pressure on the Falcons defence and after 10 minutes went close with a shot from 20 yards out from Tom Walters. Sports then had efforts saved with shots from Adam Soloman, Jake Newbutt and Shane Clay. However, Priory then  broke down the right and J.Pindad chipped the ball over the Sports keeper Matt Innes to open the scoring.

In the second half Sports kept on hammering on the door of the Priory goalmouth and after a corner from Solo,  Nick Ward who headed in from 8 yards out. Sports again came close with chances from Nick Ward, Solo, and sub Craig Pollard.

The Sports man of the match was Rob Morledge who kept goalkeeper Matt Innes with nothing to do by winning every thing that came towards him. The whole of the team played with spirit and determination and on the day Rob just edged them out. Well done lads.
