Ruddington Colts 3 Hucknall Sports U8's Saturday 1

In the last game of the season the team who previously gave them their first league defeat again beat Sports.               

Sports gave a good account of themselves in this match soaking up some early Ruddington pressure before taking control of the game and creating numerous goal-scoring opportunities. However after one such good attack by Sports, Ruddington countered and scored an excellent first goal. This only fired Sports up more and straight from the re-start Liam Kilcullen played an excellent one-two with Stephen Whitley before playing an inch perfect pass into the run of Daniel Long who struck a venomous shot beyond the Ruddington Keeper. The half ended all square. 

After the break Sports continued to push forward in the early minutes but then seemed to go to sleep for five minutes and this was all Ruddington needed, they took their opportunity punishing Sports with two more well taken goals. Sports sparked back into life but Ruddington defended extremely well to hold onto their lead.
