Hucknall Sports U8's Saturday 1 Pegasus Youth Blue 1

Today saw Sports take on Pegasus in two friendlies, although it seemed that only the Coaches took any notice of this. Both teams displayed some excellent football right from the off battling for everything. 

Although Sports had much of the play in the first half of the first game they could not capitalise on their hard work and were punished by an excellent counter attack and a well-taken goal. Sports undeterred continued to play their own game and were unlucky not to go into half time level. 

The second half picked up where the first had left off with both sides playing some entertaining football but this time Sports were rewarded with the equalising goal from an excellent attacking move and a superb finish. 

The game finished at 1-1, which after the commitment both teams showed was a fair result.
