Sports go down to another defeat but it was a game which saw a brave Sports fight for everything to the bitter end.. 

Carlton Town, who are a very good side, scored two excellent goals early in this game. However, instead of Sports crumbling it seemed to kick-start their game and with dogged determination and a show of true grit from every player they made Carlton have to work very hard for any possession and goal scoring opportunities. Carlton though denied Sports any chance of scoring with some well disciplined defending. The half finished 2 – 0 in favour of the home side. 

The second half saw both sides playing some very good football with both creating goal scoring opportunities but it was Carlton who managed to find the back of the net with a superb display of passing football which left Sports wide open, crowning it with an excellent top corner strike. 

Again, Sports can take more positives than negatives from this game culminating in man of the match Daniel Long delivering the kind of game we all know he was capable of.
