After a long wait Sports U8's Saturday  have their first league win. A home tie against Heanor played at full throttle did the trick with sports winning 2-0

After a first half performance of good defending from Joe Walker and Daniel Crump, Sports started the second half downhill and at 0-0.

A hard battling Sports contending everything then were rewarded in the 30th minute, with a perfectly timed lob from captain Liam Kilcullen.

Seven minutes later Stephen Whitely left 3 players in his wake as he slotted home the 2nd to reward him and the team for an overall best team performance of the season.

A hard decision when all players were on top form for man of the match, went to the influential captain. Well done boys.
