Travelling to Long Eaton, Hucknall Sports U-9 White embarked on their second game in an after season mini league.

From the off Sports dominated the game with slick passing and flowing football.  A free kick was awarded to Long Eaton on the edge of the area and was struck sweetly but a fine save from Sports' keeper Aaron Bradley kept the locals at bay.  Fantastic movement up field from Charlie Miller, Michell Cassidy and Joe Priestly saw a goal mouth scramble slotted in by Joe Hewitt, a second came moments later from Sammy Wells.

Starting the second half with just as much heart Sports soon found themselves 3-0 up with another belter from Hewitt.  The solid defence of Sam Abbott and Joe Gill held strong until Long Eaton surged forward and pulled back a goal.  A great performance from Mathew Brierley, Ryan and Paice Lees saw Sports pepper the goal of Long Eaton, but good blocking prevented the score line to rise finishing 3-1 to Hucknall Sports.
