The New Year got off to a flyer for Hucknall Sports U9's White as they took on Attenborough Colts in the YEL Division 3 Blue.

Gripping end to end play saw Sports defend and move the ball comfortably up field to hamper  Colts keeper a number of times until the deadlock was broken with a Charlie Miller slot in.

 

Being in control, Sports were troubled slightly as Colts were lucky with 2 deflected own goals leaving a 2-1 deficit.  This was soon cancelled out with a restructured team as man of the match Joe 'H' Hewitt whistled in the equaliser and soon after banged in the third for Hucknall.

A well deserved 3-2 win for the locals in this entertaining match.
