Hucknall Sports made it three wins on the trot and got revenge for a league defeat earlier in the season against Sandiacre Town.

Sports started the game with an extra bit of pace and put Sandiacre under a lot of pressure with the goalkeeper making some fine saves from Sam Straw and Mitchell (Butch) Cassidy to keep a clean sheet. The pressure finally paid off when Joe Priestley tapped in a rebound off the bar from a Sam Straw shot. Joe Priestley made it two when he fired in from the right after some good team work down the right from Joe Hewitt and Mitchell Cassidy. The game was now all Sports with any Sandiacre attacks being stopped by a solid Joe Gill performance. Joe Priestley got his hat trick when he again tapped in the loose ball off the keeper. Sports got the fourth when Joe Gill knocked a ball towards the goal area and it went over the keeper into the net.

Sports made changes at half time and although they never scored again they had plenty of chances with Sam Wells, Paice Lees and Michael South all going close. Sports never looked like letting a goal in and played some good passing football throughout the game with the man of the match award going to three goals Joe Priestly.
