Saving their best performance of the season to the last game, Hucknall Sports U9 White took on local rivals Bagthorpe in the YEL Division 3.

From the off Sports looked more lively playing smooth controlled football and were soon 1-0 up with a pearler from Joseph Priestly. This goal though was cancelled out with a belter from Bagthorpe after sloppy defending from a corner.  Sports however wound up the wick and were lucky not to go in at the break in front.

Hucknall, now with the downhill advantage, soon grasped the chance and banged in another from Joe 'H' Hewitt, whilst super sub Mitchell Cassidy blasted in a brace of goals.  With every team member pulling their weight, the scoreline soon rose to 5-1 courtesy of Sam Straw with the honours of the man of the match award  shared throughout the squad.

This result pushed Sports above Bagthorpe to finish the season mid-table in their roller coaster season.
