Keeping their unbeaten record intact was always on the minds of Hucknall Sports U-9's White as they took on Sandiacre Town at Holgate in the YEL Division 3 Blue.

Sports usually fast from the blocks were slow and made very hard work of struggling Sandiacre. Both sides had good chances but the pressure from Sports was building and they were denied twice by the post.

After the break Sports showed more urgency and, by playing more positive football, were rewarded as super cool Joe Gill blasted in the first and minutes later bagged his second from near the half way line.

The match then never looked in danger with man of the match keeper Aaron Bradley commanding his area with military precision.  With minutes remaining Sports sealed their victory with Sam Wells twisting and turning his way through the defence finishing with a peach of a goal making it 3-0 to Sports.
