U10's Black 2 Ernehale Colts 4
Sunday 29th October
2006
A lacklustre performance and the inability to take their chances see
Sports crash to yet another defeat.
Sports having elected to kick off found themselves a goal behind within
20 seconds after a dismal display of defending after an initial mistake
in midfield. Sports responded well but their inability to turn possession into
goals really showed in this game and deserved to be two goals adrift to a hard
working Colts side. Man of the match Harrison Carlin continued to work hard to
turn things around along with Tom Shaw who has proved to be Mr Consistency
this season, and having won a corner Cory George delivered a slide rule pass
for Brandon 'Gunny' Booth to head home to give Sports a glimmer of hope.
Ernehale were to extend their lead after the Sports keeper made an
uncharacteristic error before George delivered another inch perfect corner for
Lewis Kerry to finally open his account with a superbly taken header. Colts
had the last word though with a cool finish to leave the final score 4-2 to
the visitors.
