Buoyed by two wins in previous weeks , Hucknall Sports Under 10's Red battled impressively against top of the table Arnold Town in the Sunday First Division.

However, they were unable to prevent a 4 - 0 defeat which was sealed by two late goals on the counter attack. Bad marking enabled Arnold to take an early lead and although Sports pushed forward with some fine attacking moves they couldn't find the decisive pass and it was 2 - 0 before the break.

Man of the match for the Hucknall side was Matthew King.
