Hucknall Sports U10's win
the Hucknall Sports Football Tournament

Hucknall
Sports U10's entered two teams into the
annual Hucknall Sports Soccer Tournament held this weekend at Holgate School.
In 'Group A' the
'Reds' won 1, drew 2 and lost 1 and missed out on the semi finals by a
single point. Whilst in 'Group B' the 'Whites' won 3 and drew 1 to top
their division with 10 points.
Drawn against Edwalton
Cavaliers in the semi's Whites
played a wonderful expansive game of football and managed to win through
to the final 2-0 and setup a game with Derbyshire outfit Hilton.
In the final both
sides played some great attacking football but the advantage swung to Hilton
when Hucknall went down to 6 men but a wonderful left wing run
and cross by Barlow setup Hallam for a last minute winner to spark celebration
from the U10's supporters.
Man of the
Tournament went to Jarrod Davies for
a fantastic midfield display on his
debut for the team.
This was a great
tournament for both U10's teams who between the both of them only lost one game
out the 10 that they played in total. Congratulations go
to all the players from both teams, but especially to the winning finalists -
Well done boys.
