Whites Back on Track
Hucknall, still smarting, from the previous weeks score draw with Dunkirk needed to make amends and the set about attacking Wollaton from the first whistle and did not have to wait too long for the breakthrough. Evans fed the ball to BARLOW on the left wing who cut inside his marker to shoot high into the top corner from a very acute angle - fabulous goal. This was quickly followed up by goals from HALLAM and a second for BARLOW and with Hucknall well on top the half time whistle blew with the score at 3-0 to Sports.
Hucknall changed things around in the second half and introduced three substitutes to allow Smith to move forward into midfield from his normal defensive position. Whilst the new positions and players where settling in Wollaton pulled a goal back but once Hucknall got into their stride the defence and midfield looked solid once more. Then the goal of the game arrived by way of a flowing move from defence to attack with Bowley making the final decisive pass just inside the full-back for DIRISO to side-foot home. Final score 4-1 to Hucknall.

Futures Bright
New signings Wilson, Newton and Hart took to the field alongside the improving Johnstone to show what they can do and it soon become evident that we have lots of talent waiting to join the squad at 11-a-side next year. Good work in midfield from Johnstone and Wilson created numerous changes for Whites strikers and two early goals from EVANS set Whites off on the path to victory. Hallam, playing in goal for only the second time, demonstrated yet another side to his footballing skills and commanded his area well - particularly from corners.
Changing things around once more in the second half did not stop the chances being created and Hart can think himself unlucky not to get his first goal for the club. SAXTON, playing in midfield, shot high into the top corner to make it 3-0 and then made way for DAVIES who grabbed a goal for himself and made way for HALLAM who scored with his first touch - and was duly substituted to give Evans the final 5 minutes. Wollaton deservedly pulled a goal back and showed that they can play attractive football themselves. Final score 5-1 to Hucknall.
