Cotgrave Football Tournament

After finishing runners up in the league format at Filey last weekend, Sports went into this tournament full of confidence.

Winning the 1st 3 games against Priory,Cotgrave and Clifton and a goalless draw against Toton saw Sports top of their group. With goals from  Matt Bloor and Sam Price.

The quarter final against Netherfield finshed 2-0 with both goals from Oliver Bradbury. The Semi Final against Aslockton ended 1-0 again with a first half goal by Bradbury.

The Final against Cotgrave ended the run, with an early goal and remainder of the game played with all Cotgrave team defending in their own half.

A good days football and although not getting into top gear still finished 2nd out of 23 teams.
