Sports Won 3-2 on Penalities

HUCKNALL SPORTS U9s THROUGH TO YEL CUP FINAL

 

With two draws in the league already this season this fixture promised to be a tough game for both sides and so it proved,with end to end football, good passing and excellent defending.

It seemed that only a mistake by either side would give the game away and whoever got the first goal would go on to win this match.

There were no individual performances for either side, just good team performances played in the correct manner.

The game finished 0-0 at full time resulting in there being five minutes each way of extra time.

Neither team were going to give this game away and with both teams having tired legs I still only remember 1 free kick  in the hour played. The game went to penalties. It is not fair to name scorers and non scorers but Hucknall Sports eventually came out victorious winning 3-2.

It is a shame that Martins Aslockton team had to lose in such a way, but all credit to his players and parents in helping make this day a friendly and entetaining one.

Man of the match again was Aaron Roberts who with Morgan Jubb gave a solid performance in defence. A fantastic team effort.
