No luck this time, just pure grit and determination on probably the worst pitch in this division.
Straight from the off, with just seconds gone, Sports scored through Sam Price but unfortunately was disallowed. The way this game started showed Sports were in no mood to lose any points with attack after attack on the Toton goal. The 1st goal came from Josh Pearson after some excellent passing moves, shooting past the keeper. Sports were creating so many chances a second just had to and it happened when a pass to Sam Price found the back of the net with a left foot shot. Half time 2-0.
Sports started the second half playing uphill but still carried on creating chances. Josh Pearson running the midfield area went on a solo run and again found the back of the net with a well placed shot. The Sports defence were solid, again keeping the goalkeeper well protected
Man of the match for Sports was Sam Price who never stopped running and finally started passing the ball. Well done boys the chances you created could have made a higher winning margin but for good goalkeeping by Toton.
