Annual Awards Presentation Evening 2009
Under 17's

Managers Comments
The older they get the harder it gets, so they say, but these boys have made their own decisions and they play because they enjoy it. The past two years have seen these boys under tremendous pressure regarding their school exams at GCSE level, some have chosen full time education studying at A level standard while others are now in full time employment. So to get their commitment every Monday and Saturday is much appreciated. On the pitch the lads have competed in the Nott’s Youth Division 2 and at the time of writing are challenging for runners up spot, having secured third place this weekend with a spirited five four win against Long Eaton Utd. The team also acquitted themselves well in both cup competitions beating Under 18's teams from Division One before eventually losing out at the quarter final stage in both. Next season the team hope to progress into the Notts Youth Senior Division 1 where they will hope to build on this seasons form.

Managers, Player of the Year Harry Beale Enthusiastic, dedicated, hard working & the ability to perform as a team player are all attributes any manager would want in a player and this boy doesn’t disappoint at all. The past seven seasons have seen him contribute enormously to the success of the team, winning himself the top goal scorer award on several occasions and managers player at under 15s. This award, we hope, reflects on a very likable and loyal boy. |
