Annual Awards Presentation Evening 2009

Under 8's Red

Managers Comments

We had a slow start to the season, playing good football but not getting the results. With hard work in training and more determination we began to grow in confidence, and the results started to change in our favour, as we only lost 1 game out of the last 9. A great bunch of players who hopefully will get heads turning, with fast flowing football and goals galore.

Dave Jayes & Adrian Seaman

Players, Player of the Year

Pierce Raynor

A very likable player, always busy whether in a game or just training, always plays with a smile and has the loudest voice on the pitch when shouting "pass".

He has scored 8 goals this season and had 2 man of the match awards.

He has improved more and more during the season.

Great to see the rest of the team have noticed all the hard work and have voted for him to receive this award.

Well done.

Most Improved  Player of the Year

Daniel Khiari

Shown massive improvement in all aspects of his game, trains hard and is always willing to learn. Plays in the position that most players hate, never moans and in a few games he as never touched the ball, but is ready when needed. A player with a good future ahead in football. Big prospects for a big lad, who is definitely growing into his position.

Managers, Player of the Year

Dylan Humphrey

Very close run thing this season with several players in contention, but a strong finish to the end of the season clinched this award.

Works hard, good attitude to football, very calm and composed on the ball even when under pressure.

Reads the game well and able to use both feet with equal ability.

Constant performer who forms a strong partnership in defence.
