Annual Awards Presentation Evening 2010
Under 15's

Managers Comments
The Under 15’s season has been a very enjoyable one with the side only losing 3 out of 30 games and securing the League Runners Up spot along with promotion back to the 1st division.
They
finished top goal scorers in the whole of the under 15’s section averaging
nearly 5 goals per game. As always an excellent team spirit and a desire to play
attractive football has shone through, resulting in many an accolade from
opposition officials along the lines of “this team being the best footballing
side they’ve seen in this age group”, this is a massive compliment to all
players and coaches.
Here’s
to next season back in the top flight, well done lads.

Players, Player of the Year Joshua Henrys When you are the top goal scorer of the whole of the Under 15 section of the Notts Youth league, your fellow team mates are going to notice this and want to acknowledge what a great achievement it is. With their votes his team mates have shown their own appreciation of a wonderful season that this lad has had and have made him their Player of the Year. A record of 32 league goals and a total tally of 40 for the season is an amazing return , which may leave you thinking that’s all there is to this players game, well think again. A creator of many, many more goals for his team from his dead ball delivery is another attribute to his game and add these to a now hungrier, hard working side of his game we can all see why he has been selected to represent his County at a National level next season, something that everyone connected with the team is very proud of indeed. A
fantastic season which has got a lot of people talking and hoping that the
opportunities given to him next season will allow him to make that next
step in football. |

Most Improved Player Jake Maxwell Every team needs players of this type in it and the Under 15’s have been lucky enough to have this one this season. By type, we are referring to a ‘Mr Reliable’, a ‘Mr Consistent, someone who regardless of the job asked of them will carry it out with skill and 100% effort. This young man has been asked to fulfil various roles this season which has seen him improve vastly in all aspects of his play. A
hard worker in games and a dedicated trainer is what strikes you about
this player and winning this award is another way of the coaches showing
this lad his importance within this squad. |

Managers, Player of the Year Dean Robinson A tough choice this time round, with numerous players having excellent seasons. However,
this player was right up there with selections made by Nick Chris and
parents alike when a decision needed to be made in April. In the managers
opinion he considers this player to be arguably the most gifted footballer
technically that he has seen at this age group, which is also being
noticed from outside the club with various Pro clubs showing an interest
in him this year. Whether
at Centre back, centre midfield or even centre forward, this player has
many different talents and strengths to play any of these positions to
great effect and with very damaging results for the opposition. He
hasn’t always got his rewards as far goals go this time around but his
‘assists’ record from midfield is nothing short of phenomenal. An absolute pleasure to coach and have in our team |
