Annual Awards Presentation Evening 2010
Under 9's White

Managers Comments
After losing 3 players it was a hard decision what division to enter into. But after making 3 great signings we decided to stick with Division 1 of the YEL, which by far was the best decision, as the boys proved in their first match against Vernon Colts what they were capable of with their first win.
The boys adapted to different positions and have become a very hard team to break down. After another great signing in January the boys carried on with only a couple of let downs but they got straight back up again and their never say die attitude has amazed all. The biggest highlight by far was of course winning the YEL Division 1 title in our very first competetive season. It may have been tight (right up to the last game of the season) but the boys deserve every praise for getting out there and showing all just what fantastic football they can play.
A big thank you to all of the boys for making the coaching staff
and all the parents and supporters the proudest ever, lets get out there next
season and show them that the title is staying with Hucknall Sports. WELL DONE.
From a very proud manager.

Players, Player of the Year Travis Shooter This boy has had a great season, we think the boys have seen a big change in his attitude and he has become more of a team player. He has scored 30 goals this season which is a great achievement for his first competitive football season. We are not sure, but he could be the highest scorer in division 1. Well done and
hopefully will continue with his great goal scoring next season. |

Most Improved Player Ryan Richards We feel that this boy deserves this award for his attitude and his matureness that he has shown all season. He’s grown in strength in his tackles and his ability to bring players into the game is one of his best attributes. He shows great leadership and never lets his head go down, keep going and well done this season. |

Managers, Player of the Year Daniel Blatherwick This boy was asked a big ask this season and play in the middle of midfield replacing a player that went to Forest which he adapted very well considering that he used to be a striker. This is why we chose him, he looked like he’d played there for years, he even chipped in with 19 goals this season, some from fantastic free kicks. Well done and a well deserved trophy. |
