The V.A.P Team Award

This trophy is awarded to the team which in the committee’s opinion has pushed to the fore the name of Hucknall Sports Youth Club more than any other this season.

This last season has seen a number of teams promoting Hucknall Sports for instance the under 10’s who finished a very creditable 4^th position in the YEL league & certainly were a credit to the club, the under 11’s Sunday who in their first season won the 2^nd division of the Derby City league, the under 12’s who won the u12’s YEL league cup, reached the quarter final of the County Shield and finished a very respectable 3^rd position in their league, the u13’s Sunday side who have been a credit to the club and high expectations were envisaged and despite an early cup exit finished an excellent 3^rd place in Division 1 of the Derby City league and finally the rapid improvements made by the under 15’s to finish a very creditable 4^th place in their respective league.

But this seasons winners have gone from strength to strength and for the 2^nd season in succession the VAP team of the year award went to the Under 12’s led by Pete & Dave Innes
