Sportsman of the Year |

This young man has finished, what we hope is one of many seasons to come with Hucknall Sports. He fitted into the team with ease, his constant smile and his compassionate nature makes him a credit to his parents, yet his determination on the pitch is unequalled. The parents have selected this lad which managers Stuart Hunt and Ken Rogers fully agree with. |

Players, Player of the Year |

This award which was picked by the players themselves has gone to a young man who has come of age this season, not only in stature but also in his maturity. On the field he gives nothing less than 110% and has now become one of the most influential players in the squad. He gains other players respect by both his actions and his caring nature, earning his nickname ‘Nurse Betty’. I am sure everyone connected with the team agrees that he is also the most improved player of the year. He has had an excellent season and both Ken & Stuart fully agree with the players choice. |

Again this has been a hard decision to arrive at with so many quality players and all of whom have given their all this season. Our decision came down to the player who is one of the unsung heroes of the squad. He never misses training, his standard of play especially his bone crunching tackles gets better each week and he never moans. He is an absolute pleasure to have around, as are all the lads. Despite having more than his fair share of domestic problems to overcome he has never let it interfere with his football. This young man is a credit not only for Hucknall Sports but also to his Mum, Dad and all his friends. |
