Annual Awards Presentation Evening 2003

Under 15's

Sportsman of the Year

Through using a rotation system within the squad some players have been limited in their opportunities but have been eager to come to training & to take their chance in the team when it arises.

We are fortunate that we have the spirit amongst the players in that they do support & encourage each other.

This seasons winner has been hampered by mid season injury but this has not dampened his enthusiasm or kept hem quiet.

Players, Player of the Year

This seasons winner only started in one of the first three games and was concerned as to his future prospects for the season. It’s to his credit and pleasing to note that he has worked hard at his game, as have all the lads, and established himself almost as a feature in the team at the back. We look forward to further improvements next year.

Jon Hallam

Managers, Player of the Year

This season has produced a difficult choice as all the lads have benefited from fresh views,  opinions & advice in training and at matches thanks to the input of Alan Davies assisting in coaching. The players have been encouraged to work as a unit & performances have definitely improved both individually and as a team.

There were several strong candidates for this award : Jon Hallam for his robust performances at centre half, Nikhil Dhiri for his excellent scoring achievements, Aarron ‘Rico’ Lee for his continual involvement in the midfield, Pat Ryan in his first season with us for his willingness to play in any position & do it well.

However the Managers player of the season goes to someone who has made his position his own due to consistent displays of a high standard over the last 2 seasons  and who gives confidence to to his mates in the back four by his guidance
