This
is probably the biggest award the club has to present to an individual
and it is presented to the person we feel has done the most to promote
the name of Hucknall Sports.
This award has been donated and presented over the years by Mr
Ciss Flint, Irene’s widower, but unfortunately Ciss passed away
earlier this year but we were delighted that his daughter Jill Harley
was with us to present it. This award has therefore been renamed as the
Irene and Ciss Flint award.
There have been a number of candidates who have done a tremendous amount for the club but one person has stood out in ensuring the name of Hucknall Sports is now known world wide. At one of our committee meetings during August 2003 the suggestion was made for a volunteer to undertake a website for the club. Little did we know that the impact that this would have has been truly outstanding. |
| Having
had 9200 visits in the first 10 months we believe it is a very
professional communication tool for the club but most importantly the
professionalism and work that this guy puts in is phenomenal.
The winner of
the highest award in the club,the Irene & Ciss Flint award went to
Andy Smith. |
