Annual Awards Presentation Evening 2004

Under 10's White

Sportsman of the Year

This player just wants to play football. Even when unfair tackles were made on him he just gets up and wants to get on with the game. When he makes a tackle he always goes for the ball and normally wins it. He has played in every position on the pitch apart from keeper when needed. He never complained when there were only 2 left at the end of a match taking the goals down in the cold and the rain.

Players, Player of the Year

This player played mainly at right back but was equally as good on the attack and even scored a few goals. It was a close contest because all the lads get on so well together, but this lad is always upbeat and tries to be positive even if things weren’t going his way.

This player is the captain and goalkeeper for the team. He often won praise from opposition managers for his goal keeping skills and his bravery. He stuck to the task diving at attacking player’s feet in his determination to win the ball.
