Annual Awards Presentation Evening 2004

Under 7's Red

Sportsman of the Year

This boy is a popular member of the squad who is keen to do his best at all times. He endeavours to always give 100%.

He is willing to play anywhere he is asked and listens well to instructions from his managers. He actively encourages his team mates whether he is on the field of play or off it.

Players, Player of the Year

It will come as no surprise to anyone involved with the U7 Reds that this boy has been voted as player’s player by his team mates.

He is a very quiet, unassuming and gifted young man who lets his football do most of the talking. He listens to what his managers and team mates have to say and encourages his team mates to do well. He was a natural choice to become team captain and relishes the responsibility.

We are certain this is the first of many players’ player awards that this boy will collect throughout his football career.

Managers, Player of the Year

This boy is one of the players the Reds have picked up along the way, but he has soon made his mark and established himself as a key member of the squad. In fact he was very close to being named players player.

He is a very good and hard working defender and is always looking for the ball and to turn defence into attack. He never stops looking to bring others into the game and is never shy to give encouragement where needed.

He is a quiet unassuming and popular member of the squad who will no doubt receive many such awards in the future.
