Annual Awards Presentation Evenings 2005

Hucknall Sports Junior Football Club held its 28th annual awards and presentation evenings at the Hucknall Community Centre recently. Due to the ongoing success of the club, they had to hold three separate evenings to cater for over 600 people that attended. The three evenings covered the lads from the Soccer School right through to the Under 15’s. In total there are 14 teams playing competitive junior soccer for Hucknall Sports as well as a very successful soccer school.
| The awards, totalling over 250, were presented by an elite group of people from within the local footballing arena namely Steve Chettle formerly of Nottingham Forest, Andy Todd one of the stars from the very successful Hucknall Town team, Young Elizabethan League Vice Chairperson Sharon Watson, committee members Maurice Simpson & Mick Hill. | ||||

Club Awards
| The VAP Team Of the Year award voted by all the team managers went to the Under13’s, managed by Brian Priestley who were crowned Division 3 Young Elizabethan League champions, were runners up in the League Cup and semi finalists of the Notts FA County Shield. | ![]() |

The most prestigious award within the club, the Irene and Ciss Flint award, which was presented by Irene and Ciss’s daughter Jill Harley, was won by Steve Mosedale for his outstanding work in promoting Hucknall Sports in various different ways off the field of play. |
| Howard Wright received a very special award for services to the club over a period of 20 years. He has now decided to retire from active duty. |
