Annual Awards Presentation Evenings 2006

Hucknall Sports Junior Football Club held its 29th annual awards and presentation evenings at the John Godber Center recently. Due to the ongoing success of the club, they had to hold three separate evenings to cater for over 600 people that attended. The three evenings covered the lads from the Soccer School right through to the Under 16’s. In total there are 14 teams playing competitive junior soccer for Hucknall Sports as well as a very successful soccer school.

Club Awards

The winners of the VAP Team Award went to the Under 9's Sunday. For the second season running the Under 9's Sunday had an outstanding season. This team have only been playing league football for 2 seasons and have already won major awards and it came as no surprise that they won their respective league as champions with 4 weeks to spare.

The most prestigious award within the club, the Irene and Ciss Flint award, which was presented by  Irene and Ciss’s daughter Jill Harley, was won by Phil Barnes for his outstanding work in the running of our extremely successful soccer school.

The Richard Silverwood Award 
went to Daniel Yates for his total commitment in helping out at the Soccer School

Team Awards
