Annual Awards Presentation Evening 2007

Under 16's

From the very start the lads were focused on winning the League.

We came out feeling positive and  got the right results, unfortunately due to one or two injuries we slipped mid season and gave ourselves a bit of an upward struggle, but undeterred the lads played outstanding and carried on the fight never wanting to give up. The result was we finished Runners up, to which I  am so very proud of them.

Great season Lads thank you very much

Players, Player of the Year

Lee Elvidge

What an excellent season this player has had. He is always there, part of the team, creating, developing and being very focused. He has gained the respect of his team mates by working his socks off and on 4 occasions getting the grand 1st prize of a goal.

Sportsman / Most Improved Player

Paul Parkinson

This one is easy, a super player, who attends every session no matter what the climate, attends every match never moaning about being on the Sub Bench.

Towards the latter part of the season he proved himself to be a valuable 1st team player and did his bit by scoring a goal every time he was on the pitch. Know affectionately as “Parko for England”

Managers, Player of the Year

Tom Bradley

Like last season  not an easy decision for us to make, but certainly the correct one.

This player has been so adaptable. Willing to change his position when needs calls, swapping from midfield to defence and winding in the goals when we needed them most.
