Annual Awards Presentation Evening 2007
Under 9's Black

This has been the Blacks first season together and at times has been somewhat hard, but the players deserve a huge amount of credit for always giving 100% even when things have not been going well.
David and Gary are very proud of them all
and would like to thank every one of them for the effort and commitment they
have shown throughout the season.
With a couple of new players added to the squad we will be able to look forward to an even more successful new season.

Players, Player of the Year Ellie Betteridge When this player joined last
summer the others were a little unsure and a little apprehensive of how to
deal with a girl playing alongside them, but once the season started they
soon realised what an asset she was. Her technique, ability, effort and
overall performances throughout the season have been superb. It has been
an absolute pleasure to have her in our side and to show how much she is
valued here, every one of her team mates voted for her for their player of
the year. |

Sportsman / Most Improved Player James Lees This has been this boys first season of competitive football. Whilst sometimes looking a little bit lost at the beginning his willingness to listen and learn together with his enthusiasm and effort he has put in has made him a very popular member of the team and a very worthy winner of this award. |

Managers, Player of the Year Cameron Henrys Any one of the team could
have won this award this year, but the Managers Payer of the Year goes to
a boy who has played in every position this season, including goalkeeper
and has performed exceptionally well. He has not always got the rewards that he deserves, but one incident during a game stands out more than any other and this tells you all you need to know about him. A thunderous tackle that had commitment, effort, passion and bravery written all over it.
