The Under 8’s Red played their 1st season of competitive football in the Sunday Green League and what a first season, finishing runners up with 14 wins 3 draws and only 1 loss to their name, scoring 85 goals and conceding only 8 and also getting to the Quarter final of the league cup.
They have had some brilliant team performances, from goalie Brandon Jones with 13 clean sheets, to the ever present defense of Joe Booth, Billy Platts and Harry Saxton, the hard working midfielders Ryan Towle and Kieran Green, some of the best wing men in the league - Harry Gill, Kieran Orange and Adrian Lang to front man and top scorer, with 34 goals Charlie Blatherwick, showed that team work pays and this team were at times awesome to watch, well done all.
