Annual 6-a-side Junior Football Tournament

Hucknall Sports would like you to join us in our annual junior 6 aside football competition, which will take place on Sunday the 13^th July 2008 at The Holgate School complex, Hucknall.

The competition is for the Under 7’s through to the Under 12’s in the 2007/2008 seasons age groups. The Under 7's, 8's and 9’s will be playing in the morning and the Under 10’s,11’s & 12’s in the afternoon.

We have changed the format of this season’s competition after listening to a number of clubs who did not want to participate all day and therefore the event for your particular age group will take only half a day. The format of the competition will be exactly as previous years with each team guaranteed at least 5 games before the knock out stages.

Each club will be able to enter as many teams as they wish in any age group and it will be done on a first come first served basis. The cost will be £20 per team.

Whilst it may seem early to request your participation, the competition soon fills up as it is firmly established as one of the most prestigious junior competitions in Nottinghamshire. The success over the years has been the result of additional side shows that cater for the youngsters and these will again be part of our 2008 day. Also, regular comments are received about the efficiency of the competition and the quality of the trophies donated, which is why a lot of clubs return to participate year after year.
